In July 2011, the documentary âUnveil the Truth I - Government Virusâ exposed the Taiwanese governmentâs cover-up of the HPAI H5N2 outbreak. Despite initial denial and threats against director Kevin Lee, he continued his investigation, leading to the sequel âUnveil the Truth II.â Lee actively participated by mailing dead chickens to officials and pressing charges. On March 3, 2013, under pressure, officials admitted to the outbreak.
