CĂ´ng LĂ˝, full name Nguyáť n CĂ´ng LĂ˝ (born October 16, 1973), is a Vietnamese comedian and actor. He is best known for his comedic role as the sharped-tongued crossdressing god Bắc ÄẊu ("North Pole") in the annual Lunar New Year show "Gạp nhau cuáťi nÄm." He was awarded the title of People's Artist by the State in the 2019 for his contributions to the theater drama. CĂ´ng LĂ˝ is also known for other roles in film and on stage: KhoĂĄi in the TV series "GiĂł lĂ ng KĂŹnh," Hòa in the play "Äiáťn thoấi Di Äáťng," the Department Head in the comedic show "Thank God you're here!" He won the Gold Medal at the National Professional Theater Festival in 2009. Since 2020, CĂ´ng LĂ˝ serves as the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Drama Theater.
