Laurens Walter is an Austrian actor, born on January 1, 1977, on Lake Constance in MĂŒnsterlingen, Switzerland, with residences in Hamburg and Berlin. He completed his diploma in 2001 at the WestfĂ€lische Schauspielschule Bochum and gained theater experience at Schauspielhaus Bochum, Wuppertaler BĂŒhnen, and Theater Aachen. He became known through the recurring supporting role of Lars Lehnhoff in âStrombergâ (2005â2012, 26 episodes as well as in the 2013 feature film), further roles include Commissioner Fischer in âAus dem Nichtsâ (2017, directed by Fatih Akin), appearances in âRheingoldâ (2021), âSOKO Stuttgart: Schachmattâ (2022), âHotel Mondial: Der perfekte Sturmâ (2023), âDie Pfefferkörner,â âNotruf Hafenkante,â âWilsberg,â âTatort,â and feature films such as âDie österreichische Methodeâ (2004), âMorscholzâ (2008, lead role, nomination for Förderpreis Deutscher Film), and âParkourâ (2009); additionally, he is active as a Blue Man, musician (guitar, drums, violin), dancer (tango), and audio drama narrator.
