Leo Gratten Carroll (25 October 1886 β 16 October 1972) was an English actor. He is best known for his roles in six Alfred Hitchcock films - Rebecca, Suspicion, Spellbound, The Paradine Case, Strangers on a Train, and North by Northwest - and the television series Topper, Going My Way, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
