Anna OâBrian (born January 23, 1993) is the director of Disneyâs âBig City Greens the Movie: Spacecation,â a brand-new animated comedy from the creators of Disney Channelâs hit series âBig City Greens.â OâBrian is an EmmyÂŽ-nominated writer and artist. For more than 10 years, she has worked as a writer, storyboard artist and character designer on many highly acclaimed shows, including âWe Bare Bearsâ at Cartoon Network, âHarvey Beaksâ at Nickelodeon and âAmphibiaâ at Walt Disney Television Animation. In 2016, she was hired as a storyboard artist on the first season of âBig City Greensâ before eventually becoming a director on the series for seasons two and three. In 2020, Anna was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for writing on the series. OâBrian attended the University of Florida and later transferred to CalArts to study animation, where her film âGood Morningâ was accepted into the 2013 CalArts Producers Show. She lives in Burbank with her cat Square.
