In turn, his multi-award-winning debut feature film, 'Nobody Loves You and You Don't Deserve to Exist', was released to international acclaim in 2022, and can be described as a semi-autobiographical exploration of masculinity, morality, identity, social class and storytelling in the North of England. As writer/director his short film adaptation of Franz Kafka's classic parable 'Before the Law' won Best Short Film Director at the FICIMAD Film Festival in Madrid in February 2025.
