Directing
Brazilian anthropologist and filmmaker. She holds a degree in Fashion Design with a specialization in Fashion Communication and Production. Her research interests focus on anthropology, archives, memory, image, Brazilian cinema and theater, and women in art. Since 2020, she has founded and coordinated CAOS - Cinema, Anthropology and Social Observation, a collective focused on production, dissemination, and research focused on cinema and social transformation. She has worked as a teacher, filmmaker, researcher, screenwriter, costume designer, art director, editor, film curator, and programmer. Her most notable work is the short film "By the waves the margins are licked," for which she's credited with direction, research, screenplay, and editing. The film received four awards and was screened at over 40 national and international festivals, exhibitions, and screenings, including the 44th Durban International Film Festival (DIFF) in South Africa.
