Maria do CĂ©u Ribeiro is an actress. She completed the acting course at the Academia ContemporĂąnea do EspectĂĄculo (ACE), Porto, in 1993. She started her professional career in 1994 with William Shakespeareâs âThe Tempestâ, directed by Silviu PurcÄrete, at Teatro Nacional S. JoĂŁo. She is one of the founders of the theatre company As Boas Raparigas, and she featured in the plays it presented, such as Javier Tomeoâs âHistorias MĂnimasâ, Alberto Moraviaâs âParadiseâ, Platoâs âPhaedoâ, and Howard Barkerâs âDead Handsâ, âDeep Wives/Shallow Animalsâ and âUndâ, all directed by RogĂ©rio de Carvalho, among many others. She has been teaching voice/oral expression at ACE since 1998.
